DFMPro is now SolidWorks Solution Partner

Geometric's DFMPro product has now been awarded solution partner status by SolidWorks.

DFMPro is published to the Partners section of SolidWorks website here: http://www.solidworks.com/pages/partners/PartnerDetails.html?ProductID=3002

DFMPro from Geometric facilitates upstream manufacturability validation. DFMPro helps in identification of areas of a design that are difficult, expensive, or impossible to manufacture. It automates the iterative design review process for manufacturability issues. It also provides mechanism for manufacturability knowledge capture and reuse for continuous improvement.

Key Features:

  • Easy to learn and use - seamlessly integrated within CAD system
  • Common manufacturability checks related to machining and sheet metal fabrication
  • Provide reasons and suggest best practices related to manufacturability issues
  • Rule Manager to configure parameters and criticality of rules
  • Create different standard files for different vendors, machine shops
  • Ability to generate reports, which can be viewed with any internet browser

DFMPro also provides a framework to capture and reuse manufacturability expertise in the form of design rules. Using DFMPro Custom, organizations get the ability to automate in-house DFM practices into their overall standard operating procedures.
